Matera (Basilicata). Italian: Due caprioli, accompagnati in punta da un’oca colla testa rivolta; col capo caricato di tre crocette biforcate, ordinate in fascia. English: Two chevrons accompanied in point by a goose with the head turned; a chief charged with three crosses pattee arranged in fess. Tinctures (colors) not given, so I assumed them. Italian: Di rosso, a due caprioli diminuiti, d’oro, accompagnati in punta da un’oca, con il capo rivoltato, al naturale, il tutto abbassato sooto un capo d’oro, caricato di tre crocette, biforcate, poste in fascia, di rosso.  English: Of red, with two diminished roe deer, of gold, accompanied at the tip by a goose, with the head turned naturally, all lowered under a golden head, loaded with three crosses, bifurcated, placed in band, of red
