Quarterly, 1st and 4th, sa. on a bend cotised ar. a rose betw. two annulets gu., for Conwy; 2nd and 3rd, lozengy ar. and sa. a bordure of the last, for Shipley. Crest—A Moor’s head in profile couped ppr. wreathed about the temples ar. and az. Motto—Fide et amore. See Rowley-Conwy.
