Edward Pollen, Esq., eldest son and heir of John Paulyn, Esq., M.P. for Andover, was father of Benjamin Pollen, who inherited, through his mother, the manor of Little Bookham; his dau. and heiress d. unm. in 1764, when she bequeathed her estates to her stepmother, with remainder to her half-uncle, and then to her cousin, Rev. George Pollen, Rector of Bookham, whose eldest dau. m. John Peter Boileau, Esq., and was mother of Rev.
