King Stephen; William Sherard, Esq., of Stapleford, was created a Peer 1627). Ar. a chev. gu. bttw. three torteaux. Crest—Out of a ducal coronet or, a peacock’s tail ereet ppr. Supportes—Two rams ar. armed and unguled or. Motto—Hostis honori invidia.
