Bongiardina, Bongiardino or Mongiardino.

Noble family from Trapani. An Antonio was a senator of Trapani in 1415-16; a Giovanni held the same office in the year 1448-49 and a Francesco in 1538-39. It has passed since 1648 to the order of Malta. We do not know whether that Giovan Battista Bongiardina, doctor of laws, supernumerary tax attorney of the court of the Royal Patrimony 1790 and that Placido, tax attorney of the same court 1810, belonged to this same family.

Alias: green, with three golden mountains, moving from the tip, that of the center topped by a pine tree of the second.

Weapon: party: in the 1st of blue, at the palm tree in natural, supported by two lions facing each other and counter-rampant to the trunk.
