This family enjoyed nobility in Messina, Palermo, Noto, etc. An Antonio was a senator of Messina in the year 1542-43 and perhaps he himself is that Antonio ascribed to the noble coaming 1587, a Girolamo is enrolled in the said coaming (year 1597, list II) and a Giuseppe in the list XV, year 1601. A Vincenzo, coadjutor of the noble company of Charity in Palermo in the year 1568 and minister of the same in the years 1569 and 1573, was captain of justice of Palermo in the years 1573-74 and 1577-78; a Pietro was a senator of that city in the years 1597-98 and 1623-24; a Giovan Vincenzo, with a privilege given on 13 July 1573 executed on 17 February 1574, obtained the concession of the title of noble with Don. An Antonio was baron of Capuano and lord of Raulica 1716, a Francesco was baron of Cacchiamo 1733,
