(borne by Sir Richard Du Busc, at the battle of Rosbecq, fought 27 Nov. 1382; when he was knighted by Charles VI. of France, since borne by his descendants of whom Jacob Hans Busk, b. 1688, grandson of Nicholas du Busk, Marquis de Fresney, Ambassador from France to Sweden, settled in England 1712, and was naturalized by Act of Parliament, 9 George I.). Ar. an oak tree ppr. the shield supported on the sinister side by a griffin gu. Crest—A stag trippant ppr. Motto—Suaviter sed fortiter.
