(Pilton, co. Edinburgh). The same with the saltire invected. Motto—Veritas non opprimitur.

(Scotland, 1736). Erm. on a saltire gu. betw. four palm branches vert, five mascles ar. Crest—A phoenix in flames ppr. Motto—Virtus sibi praemium.

Or, a saltire az. on a chief of the last three stars of the first. Crest—A beehive with bees volant ppr.
