(Pyrton, co. Worcester; claimed to descend from William, brother of Jordan, Lord Foliot, settled at Morton Foliot, temp. Henry I., and held lands at Pyrton, temp. Edward III. Visit. Worcester, 1569). Ar. a lion ramp. double queued purp. crowned or. (Nash says these are the arms of Stury, which Foliott adopted through an intermarriage with that family).
