Crest—An eagle’s head erased sa. guttee d’or, in the beak a brand ragule fired. Motto—Pro libertate lege sancta.

(Gaunts, co. Dorset, bart.). Ar. an eagle displ. with two heads sa. guttee d’or. Crest—An eagle’s head erased sa. guttee d’or, in the beak an escallop ar. Motto—Firm in my trust.
