Ar. five chevronels sa., borne by Robert de Hougham, at the siege of Acon, in Palestine, temp. Edward I.; the family sometimes bore, or, on a chev. betw. three elephants’ heads erased gu. as many mullets ar. Crest—On a chapeau gu. turned up erm. a falcon ar. with wings expanded or, beaked and belled of the last.
