Bongiovanni.

A Giacinto Bongiovanni, doctor of laws, with a privilege given on May 12, executed on June 30, 1677, was appointed tax attorney of the Great Court of the Kingdom and in 1689 he was secretary and referendary of the Kingdom of Sicily. A Giambattista held this last position and was Baron del Grano over every body of wheat, barley and legumes to be extracted from the magazines of Girgenti, Siculiana and Montechiaro, as per investiture of 15 September 1722, a title which, due to the death of Ferdinando Bongiovanni, son of said Giovan Battista, followed without children in 1802, he passed into the Ebano house.
